On 05.03.2019 in Sofia was held “Bulgarian-Russian business forum in the field of tourism”. The event was opened by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Bulgaria Mr Boyko Borisov and the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Mr Dmitry Medvedev. The opening ceremony was attended by the Minister of Tourism of the Republic of Bulgaria, Nikolina Angelkova and the Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, Mr Maxim Oreshkin.

Due to the increased security measures and the importance of the event, only well-established business organizations, representatives of Bulgaria and Russia, including representatives of The Castle “In love in the wind”, were admitted. The forum contributed to the positive position of Bulgaria as a preferred tourist destination of Russian citizens in a highly competitive and dynamic international environment in the field of tourism. The positive image of Russia among the Bulgarian citizens was also reaffirmed.
