Half-marathon Atanasovsko Lake is a winter sports competition for lovers of running and cycling. The main purpose of the event is to promote the sport, physical activity and the importance of a protected Atanasovsko Lake as a nature conservation site at regional and world level. Organizers of the competition are the Green Strandja Association, the Bulgarian Biodiversity Foundation and the Municipality of Burgas.
The representatives of the Castle were Gergana Stoyanova – 7th among the women; Todor Stoichev – 32nd among the men and Anastas Stoyanov – volunteer in organizing the whole event. The event has passed with many positive emotions and a healthy running in the discipline 21km on 20.01.2019 at 10:30 am.
The performance was successful and next year we will fight for the first place!
