Nikolina Icheva – Nika.
Drawing – not only an interest, but also a parallel version of life. Her passion for painting has been patiently waiting to be rediscovered with drawing lessons and contacts with the right fateful people. In the last seven years, she has created a number of canvases in which color is the main means of expression with which the author presents the quiet fantasies that inhabit her mind. In 2021, with a solo exhibition – painting “Expressions” she participated in the cultural poster of the Sofia Library. In 2022, she presented works at a solo exhibition “Projections in Colors” in the art gallery “Prof. Veselin Staykov” in the town of Peshtera. The artistic technique she uses is mixed, mainly oil paints and pastels, acrylic and watercolor are not absent, in compositions and drawings. She shares that she could not paint on order, because each work is a separate universe of imagination.
